Machinery Scope Team

Machinery Scope was founded in 2013 as a family-owned business built on our experience in farming and equipment dealerships. Meet the team behind the extended warranty designed with YOU in mind.

Jake Bryce - President

Jacob grew up on a family farm near Glenwood, MN. Farm life was always very near and dear to him and his family. The farm operations consisted of a row crop enterprise and cattle. Jacob wrestled for the North Dakota State University Bison where he also earned a degree in business administration and agribusiness. His interest in ag business combined with a passion for farm equipment landed him with Titan Machinery while still in college. Jacob had the good fortune to start his career there, learning from some very progressive minds in the equipment industry. In 2012, Jacob and his wife ended up closer to home to work for Midwest Machinery, a local John Deere dealer. Jacob managed multiple locations for Midwest Machinery, before taking the Remarketing Manager position where he oversaw used equipment sales and asset management for Midwest Machinery. At the same time, his vision for creating a better marketplace for used equipment was put into motion with founding Machinery Scope in 2013. In 2018, the Finance Scope platform was added. It is in everyone’s best interest to create more opportunities for equipment transactions to take place and to better protect these equipment investments! Jacob’s goal is to grow a business that provides quality products and services for the equipment industry while helping to facilitate the dreams and ambitions of the Machinery Scope and Finance Scope employees and their families. Jacob invites you to contact him or his team to learn more about our portfolio of solutions!

Jacob and his wife Jenna have four children. Jacob also enjoys cattle, wrestling, snowmobiling, time on the lake with his family, and NDSU Bison athletics.

Joe Bryce - Machinery Scope Account Manager

Joe graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Radiological Sciences. He started his career with Meritcare in Fargo (which would later become Sanford Health). Before joining Machinery Scope, Joe managed the MRI department at Sanford. Joe’s passion for family and farming always kept him close to home so the invitation to join his brother in business was too good to pass up.

As an account manager, Joe works with Machinery Scope customers to tailor a service to each of their needs. His goal is to provide a service that is second to none. Joe is a professional member of the American Society of Agricultural Appraisers. He is excited to be providing a premier product and service.

Jesse Larson - Machinery Scope Claims Administrator

Jesse grew up on a farm in southeast South Dakota and continues to farm with some of his family today. Jesse started his career working for Butler Machinery as an ag technician for about 10 years. He spent time working on Ag-Chem, Claas, and AGCO equipment. He then went on and became a service manager for 6 years for Butler at a different location.

Currently, he does some custom chopping for an outfit in South Dakota and still helps on the farm as well. Jesse’s experience brings a unique understanding of our customers’ challenges. He understands the pressures of planting and harvest season, the need for reliable equipment, and the impact a smooth warranty process can have on operations. Jesse says he was drawn to Machinery Scope because of our vision for simple, valuable warranty solutions. He notes that equipment repair costs are high, so our industry needs extended warranty solutions done right and he’s excited to offer peace of mind and strong value to our dealers and their customers.
